Welcome to The Salty Buddha ("Studio," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service and Liability Waiver (collectively, the "Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and The Salty Buddha governing your access to and use of our website, studio facilities, classes, workshops, events, memberships, private sessions, online offerings, and all related services (collectively, the "Services").
BY ACCESSING THE WEBSITE, PURCHASING SERVICES, OR PARTICIPATING IN ANY CLASS OR ACTIVITY, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE WEBSITE OR SERVICES.
1. Eligibility & Participant Responsibility
You affirm that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age or, if under 18, that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You represent and warrant that:
You are physically and mentally capable of participating in the Services.
You have no medical condition, injury, or limitation that would prevent safe participation, or you have disclosed such conditions and assume all associated risks.
You will comply with all studio rules, instructor guidance, and posted policies.
2. Comprehensive Health & Medical Disclaimer
The Services provided by The Salty Buddha include, but are not limited to, yoga, Pilates, barre, movement-based classes, breathwork, meditation, somatic practices, trauma-informed practices, wellness education, and physical conditioning.
THE SERVICES ARE NOT MEDICAL CARE. No information provided by the Studio, whether on the website, in class, verbally, or in written materials, is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychological condition.
You acknowledge and agree that:
Participation involves inherent risks including, but not limited to, muscle strains, joint injuries, falls, aggravation of pre-existing conditions, emotional release, dizziness, fainting, or serious injury.
You are solely responsible for consulting with a licensed physician or qualified healthcare provider prior to participation.
You assume full responsibility for listening to your body, modifying movements, using props appropriately, and discontinuing participation if discomfort or injury occurs.
3. Assumption of Risk
You knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly assume ALL RISKS, both known and unknown, foreseeable and unforeseeable, associated with your participation in the Services, including risks arising from instruction, equipment use, studio facilities, other participants, or your own physical or mental condition.
4. Release, Waiver & Covenant Not to Sue
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you irrevocably release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue The Salty Buddha, its owners, officers, instructors, employees, contractors, volunteers, agents, successors, and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, liabilities, demands, causes of action, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to your participation in the Services.
This release includes, without limitation, claims based on:
Negligence (ordinary or passive)
Personal injury, illness, emotional distress, or death
Property loss or damage
Instructor instruction or failure to instruct
Facility conditions or equipment use
5. Indemnification
You agree to DEFEND, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to:
Your participation in the Services
Your breach of these Terms
Any claim brought by or on behalf of a minor for whom you are legally responsible
6. Memberships, Payments & No Refund Policy
ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
Memberships, class packs, workshops, events, private sessions, and retail purchases are NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE.
Expiration dates apply strictly to all class packs and promotional offers.
The Studio reserves the right to modify pricing, schedules, instructors, offerings, and policies at any time without notice.
Failure to attend a class, arrive on time, or comply with cancellation requirements results in forfeiture of the class without refund.
7. Cancellations, Late Arrival & No-Shows
Cancellation windows and policies are disclosed at the time of booking and are strictly enforced.
Late arrivals may be denied entry for safety reasons and will not receive refunds or credits. No-shows are charged in full.
8. Studio Conduct & Right of Refusal
The Salty Buddha reserves the absolute right to refuse service, remove participants, or terminate memberships without refund for conduct deemed unsafe, disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, intoxication, or failure to follow instructor guidance.
9. Intellectual Property & Content Use
All website content, studio materials, class formats, language, branding, logos, videos, and recordings are the exclusive intellectual property of The Salty Buddha.
You may not reproduce, record, distribute, publish, or exploit any content without prior written consent. Unauthorized recording of classes is strictly prohibited.
10. Website Use & User Accounts
You agree not to misuse the website or interfere with its operation. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, IN NO EVENT shall The Salty Buddha or the Released Parties be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
13. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which The Salty Buddha operates. Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the courts located within that state.

These terms are effective as of February 5, 2026. The Studio may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
